She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert N. Barr and Bertha Barr (Carey); her husband Harold L. "Sonny" Carter, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles R., James F. Barr and Edna R. Windsor.
She is survived by: her son Donald J. Carter of Smethport; her grandchildren, Jason C. Carter, Gregory S. Boardman (Jeri Ann), Jessica N. Kirk (Jack) and Talon Carter; her great grandchildren, Kallee Culp, Jaxon Faes, Ty Boardman, Trinity Boardman, Vincienzo Vigliotta, Vataliana Vigliotta, Gabriela Carter, Nadia Carter and Jeice Carter; and her sisters, Ruth Covert of Smethport, Flo and Grace Barnard of Shinglehouse. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, And a cousin.
