He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Woody" and Doris McKean Maynard; and his brother Stanley Paul Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Thomas; his sons, Edward Allen Maynard of Villa Hills, KY and Woody James Maynard (Susan Geoffroy) of State College, PA.; his grandchildren, Evan, Luke, Andrew, Katherine, Jack and Sophia; and his brothers, Robin Lloyd Maynard (Sandie) of Smethport and Michael John Maynard (Patty) of Port Allegany.
