She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Sakin and Howard Sakin of Scarsdale, NY.. She is survived by: her husband Kent W. Smith; her sister Karen DeMasi; her niece Shannen Wray; her nephew Nick DeMasi; her sister-in-law Wallis "Walt" Davenport; and her niece Liv Davenport. She is also survived by extended family & friends.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the McKean County SPCA, because of Caroline's lifelong love of animals and especially cats.
