She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Reed and Ida Bella Reed (Prime); and her husband Ernest E Rankin. She is survived by: her sons, Ernest E. Rankin Jr. (Diana) of Mt. Jewett and Roger W. Rankin of Smethport; and her grandchildren, Jason Eugene Rankin and Jessica Ann Rankin. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
