He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Henry and Gertrude Maude McDowell (Lindsay); his siblings, Norman Fillman (Ada Mae Duncan), James Lindsay (Alice E. Conner) and Frances Caroline (Robert); his wife Mary Elizabeth Richardson (Teddy); his children, Carolyn Ruth McCandless (Eugene), Susan Ledebur (Dennis) and George Forrest McDowell (Zoe); and his grandchildren, Scott, Greg, Joel, Anneliese, Daniel, Jeffrey, Kurt, Forrest and Gus.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Epc Center Church (333 Center Church Rd, Grove City, PA 16127).
