It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Albert Evanko of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Evanko and Anna Evanko (Yatta). He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Evanko (Miller); his children, Janet Evanko of Slippery Rock and J. Michael Evanko; his grandsons, Adam Evanko, Ryan Evanko and Drew Evanko; and his siblings, Rose Collins (Daniel) of Clearfield, Judy Sass (Robert) of Drums and John Evanko (Carol) of Holtwood.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis School Endowment, or St. Francis Educational Endowment, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
