He was predeceased by: his parents, William Homer and Martha Wiser (Hackbarth); his wife Sandra L. Wiser (Phillips); his son Ryan S. Wiser; and his siblings, Merle "Bud" Wiser, Richard Wiser, Jack Wiser, Kurt Wiser, Kenneth R. "Hutch" Wiser, Robert Wiser and Kaye Heeter.

He is survived by: his sons, Chad Wiser of Sligo and Todd "Andy" Wiser (Colleen) of Sligo; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Jasmine Wiser.
