He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strauser and Josephine Plyer Strauser; his brother Bob Strauser; his sister-in-law Beverly Strauser; his stepmother Margret Strauser; and his stepbrother Carl Glinkerman.
He is survived by: his wife Alice L. Larson of Sligo; his children, Candace L. Yoder (John), Randy S. Strauser (Jodie) and Richard A. Strauser; his grandchildren, William "Robbie" Porter, Brooke Porter (Jason Hollingsworth), Destin Strauser (Alissa Burns), Ava Strauser and Harleigh Strauser; his siblings, Donald Strauser, Joy Himes (Wayne), Ronald Strauser, Fred Strauser (Janie), Russ Strauser and Charlotte McCoy; and his sister-in-law Bernice Strauser. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
