With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Meriam E. Shook of Sligo, Pennsylvania, born in Callensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 8, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Meriam E. Shook to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Stitt and Ruth Stitt (Greenawalt); her husband Clarence E. Shook; her grandson Lucas Shook; and her siblings, Edna Swartfager, Patty Hawk, Marjorie Horner, Edgar, Ronald and Gary Stitt.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Haugh (Len) of Roseville, Nancy Rettig (Tom) of Clarion, Bob Shook (Janet) of Rimersburg and Walter Shook (Nancy) of Curllsville; her brother Connell Stitt of Knox; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Schimizzi (Jason) of Hanover, Erin Ramsey (Art) of Beaver, Andrea Buzard (Jason) of Hawthorn, Kelli Campbell (Mike) of Roseville, Dianna Barnett (Garrick) of Cranberry Twp, Nicki Mahle (Jason) of Strattanville, Carly Hanlon (Sean) of Apollo, Melissa Shook of Lawrenceville, Laura Barnes (Matt), Korea and Lindsay Williams (Craig) of West Chester. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
