It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry V. Schaeffer of Sligo, Pennsylvania, born in Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Schaeffer and Ann Stark Schaeffer; his stepmother Martha Schaeffer; his daughter Deb Kennedy; his grandchildren, Danielle Laughlin Hipple, Ben Schaeffer, Gabriel Kennedy and Chad Kennedy; and his sister Rose Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stewart; his children, Mike Schaeffer (Julie) of Curllsville, Sherry Laughlin (Beaser) of Sligo and Judy Kifer (Larry) of Curllsville; and his stepsiblings, Kathy Daughtery of Oil City and Bob Briner of Georgia. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
