He is survived by: his grandchildren, Karen Simpson (Barry) of Callensburg and Kacey Ewing (Ben) of Sligo; and his great grandchildren, Kaley Simpson and Ava Ewing.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Sligo United Methodist Church or the Sligo Volunteer Fire Company.
