He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran M. Snyder and Nellie P. Schaffer Snyder; and his siblings, Wendell, Clarence, Jack, Robert, Dorothy, Mary and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Kindel; his children, Karen Byers (Rich) of Titusville, William Reinsel, Jr. (Monique) of Muncy, Bruce Reinsel of Sligo, Tanya Bain (Mark) of Oil City, Penny Minich (Craig) of Ford City, Randy Reinsel (Kathleen Troyan) of Clarion and Sandy Terwilliger (Tom) of New Bethlehem; and his sister Bonnie Mcaninch. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made in Bernard's name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
