He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn M. Farber (Peters); his parents, Roy W. Sr. Farber and Lottie Farber (Hallman); his son Blaine; and his siblings, Diane Werley, James, Byron and Alden Farber.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Rachael Parisi (Aaron Wertman) of Bethlehem; his great grandchildren, Roland and Odin; and his brother Douglas Farber of Slatington.
