We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 88, Robert R. Lewis of Slatington, Pennsylvania, born in Slatedale, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert R. Lewis to pay them a last tribute.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Grace I. L. Lewis (Williams); and his parents, Raymond S. Lewis and Hattie B. Lewis (Bittner). He is survived by: his sons, Dale R. Lewis (Cheryl Kern) of Slatington and Craig L. Lewis (Mary) of Catasauqua; his grandsons, Robert Lewis and Shane Lewis; and his sister Nancy Reichard of Seipstown. He is also survived by 6 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harding Funeral Home (25-27 N 2nd St, Slatington, PA 18080). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Slatedale Cemetery (8648 Brown St, Slatington, PA 18079).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Robert's name can be made to either St. John's UCC General Fund or Emerald Fire Co., both c/o the funeral home.
