He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Panik and Alice Panik (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Richard L. Panik, Jr. (Rose) of Northampton, Dr. Gary M. Panik (Barbara) of Slatington and Sharon (Bernie Hahn) of Northampton; and his siblings, Eleanor Delfoe of Hellertown and Leonard Panik (Joan) of Bethlehem. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren.
