Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Hontz of Slatington, Pennsylvania, born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 88, on April 25, 2021. He was predeceased by: his wife Anita F. Hontz (Lauer); his parents, Charles E. Hontz and Pauline Hontz (Miller); his sons, Richard J. and Jeffrey A. Hontz; and his siblings, Betty Seier, Solon and Robert Hontz.
He is survived by: his children, Bonnie L. O'Boyle of Slatington, Donna Lee Ames (Jim) of Moore Township, Cheryl A. Hontz of Slatington and Larry D. Hontz (Jill) of Slatington; his daughter-in-law Tammy Hontz of Slatington; and his sister Helen Kresini (Joseph) of Allentown. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Services and interment at Cedar Hill Memorial Park will be private for family. Social distancing will be observed and we request that face coverings be worn inside the funeral home.
