It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Wassum of Slatington, Pennsylvania, born in Slatedale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Vogel and Helen Vogel (Hughes); and her children, Mark Shoemaker and Theresa Deppe. She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Shoemaker of Slatington, Bonita (Daniel Parker) of Buena Park, CA and Rochelle Weaver (Brian Haus) of Allentown; and her stepchildren, Diane (William Fister) of Slatedale, Debra (Michael Peters) of Slatington and Donald "Bup" Wassum (Tami). She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren; and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
