Marie E. Roth Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie E. Roth (Slatington, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marie's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Abraham Lincoln Roth; her parents, Clara Horn and Alfred Horn of Rextown; and her son Terry Roth. She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Burke (Doug Keichel) and Cathy Miller (Robert Miller); her granddaughter Hannah Burke; and also Michael Burke. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews, and lots of "adopted children".
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (40 2nd St, Slatington, PA 18080). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Organ Fund or Mission Support c/o St. John's Lutheran Church, or a charity of one's choice.
