In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria Ann is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maria Ann's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her brother Vincent H. DeSanctis. She is survived by: her parents, Vincent J. DeSanctis and Sophie M. DeSanctis (Chajkiewicz) of Slatington; and her sisters, Theresa (Kyle Smith) of Kutztown and Frances (David Getz) of Slatington.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harding Funeral Home (25-27 N 2nd St, Slatington, PA 18080). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption BVM Catholic Church (649 W Washington St, Slatington, PA 18080).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Maria's name to the Assumption BVM Memorial Fund and mailed to the church's address above.
