He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Chowansky and Millie Chowansky. He is survived by: his wife Louise Chowansky (Horn); his children, Susan Mann of Slatington and Gary Chowansky of The Villages, FL; and his grandchildren, Jason, Jared and Allix. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o the funeral home.
