He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hartmann and Notburga Hartmann (Buchmeier); his significant other Richard W. Gemmel; his son Hans-Joerg L. Hartmann; and his close friend Dr. Richard W. Gemmel.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Ruth Hartmann (Zimmerman); his granddaughter Jessica Tanyia Hartmann of Switzerland; his friend Edward J. Galgon, Jr. (Jessica) of Fleetwood; and his pet Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (4456 Main St, Whitehall, PA 18052).
