She was predeceased by: her husband John S. Kurtz; her parents, Michael Pavelco and Helen Pavelco (Porobenski); and her brothers, John and Joseph Pavelco.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia A. (Randy Frey) of Slatington, Karen M. (Stephen Hluschak) of Slatington, Michelle J. (Michael Jones) of Slatington and John M. Kurtz of Slatington; her grandchildren, Tonya, Michael, Brooke, Stephen, Ryan, Adam, Kaitlin, Matthew, Samantha and John; her great grandchildren, Landon, Lukas, Beau, Cove, Stella, Norah, Hannah, Emma and Brody; and her siblings, Leo, Paul Pavelco, Joyce Keller and Janice Pavelco.
