He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick J. A.. He is survived by: his spouse Diane M. Scherer (Geiger); his parent Stella D. Scherer (Eckroth); his children, Donald F. Scherer (Kim) of Whitehall, Donna M. Bush (George) of Woodbridge, VA and Diana L. Miller of Slatington; his stepsister Marlene E. Kokolus of Germansville; and his brother Earl F. Scherer. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
