He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cunfer and Mary Cunfer (Brobst); and his siblings, Arvilla, Ralph and Ernest Cunfer.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. "Dolly" Cunfer (Beers); his daughters, Christine (Michael Gaiman) of North Hollywood, CA, Susan Cunfer of Hillsborough, NJ and Sharon (Ronald Gumhold) of Schnecksville; his grandson Emmett; and his brothers, Edwin Cunfer of Doylestown and Carl Cunfer.
