She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Franklin Maurer, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, James S., Charles B. and Michael T. of Slatington; and her brother Thomas Dougherty of Reno. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
