He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis H. Barber and Norma June Barber. He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Barber (Darlene), Deborah Brown (Ronald) and Beth Ann Barber. He is also survived by five nieces and seven nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bedford County Humane Society.
