He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alice Oyler (Ed), Margaret, Eckelberger and Robert Boyer (Genevieve). He is survived by: his siblings, William Lawrence and Cora Belle Boyer; his wife Nancy; his children, James A. Boyer, Rhonda Mendel (Mike) and Michael E. Boyer; and his grandchildren, Sarah Hart (Brian), Gregg Mendel and Samuel Mendel.
