He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hocevar-Sivec and Theresa Hocevar-Sivec (Udovic); his wife Hermine L. Sivec (Danel); his granddaughter Stacey May; and his siblings, Mary Vozel, Rose Stresow, Elsie Sivec, Frances Hening, John, Louis, Andrew Sivec, Matthew Hocevar and Frank Hocevar.
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Richard May, Summerhill), Robert P., Ruth Wolfhope, Sidman, Richard, Nancy Lutton, Lilly, Ronald, Lisa Long and Shelley (Dan DeLuca, Altoona); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Sivec, Irene Danel and Helen Danel. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
