He was predeceased by: his parent Regina Farrell (Maerz). He is survived by: his parent Martin Farrell; his wife Mary Jane (Scallon); his grandchildren, Ashleigh Swanson (Justin), Richard M. Farrell, III (Madison), Jacob D. Farrell (Molly) and Benjamin X. Farrell; and his great grandchild Finnley C. Farrell.

His wishes are, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church at the address above to benefit the Poor through the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
