He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jeremiah and Alice Colbert (Cooney); his wife Betty; his daughters, Julie (John Nazaka), Laura (Jeffrey Donahue) and Michele (Vernon Kelly); his grandchildren, Casey Kelly, Colin Kelly, John Nazaka (Christine), Tony Nazaka (Jodie), Will Donahue, Tim Donahue (Katie), Jeremy Donahue (Whitney) and Andrew Donahue (Ellen); and his great grandchildren, Maggie, Cleo, Brayden, Lana, Jude, Jackson, Finn, Summer and Briar. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name can be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School.
