He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Runkles; and his nephew Vincent De'Angelo. He is survived by: his wife Janet Yakel; his daughters, Amanda Kroner and Melanie Bowles; his son-in-law John Bowles; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Sophia and Sadie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
