He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen V. Shunk (Horn) and William W. Shunk; and his wife Kay J. Shunk (Reigle). He is survived by: his children, W. David Shunk, Jr. (Barbara Shunk) of Marysville, PA and Danielle D. Brown (Kevin R. Brown); his stepchildren, Michael S. Haviland, Sinking Spring and Kathleen M. Althouse (Kenneth S. Althouse); his grandchildren, Joseph, Stephanie and Jesse; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Kinsley, Hudson, Brenden, Bella and Avacyn; and his sister-in-law Patricia Sinistri (late Roger Sinistri). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
