We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2023, at the age of 80, Jerome Blackwell of Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie P. Blackwell and Josie V. Blackwell (Turner); his son Reuben E. Blackwell; and his siblings, Oliver "Lucky" Blackwell and Rosemarie Rentschler (Blackwell).

He is survived by: his children, Jerome A. "Skip" Blackwell (Jennifer L.), Rachel A. Blackwell (Jodie L. Binner) and Elizabeth M. Brunner (Blackwell); and his sister Carrie Dabrowski (Blackwell). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
