We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2024, at the age of 73, Gary James Lyon of Shiremanstown, Pennsylvania, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Randolph Lyon and Ruth Addie Lyon; his siblings, Emory "Bruce" Lyon and Shirley VanNostrand; and his brothers-in-law, Robert "Bob" VanNostrand, William "Bill" Ayers and Elwin "El" Fitzwater.

He is survived by: his wife Debby; his children, Jennifer Croftcheck (Robert), Matthew Lyon (Lisa), Kimberly Housley (PJ) and Amiee Little (Daniel); his grandchildren, Sara, Kaitlyn, Ally, Rachel, Steven, Zoey, Carson, Gideon, Emma and Theodore; and his siblings, Nancy Fitzwater, Joan Ayers and William "Bill" Lyon (Charlotte). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
