He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Hattingh and Elsie Hattingh; his brother George Hattingh; and his stepson David Farrell. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Elsie Hattingh (Sparkes); his son Braam Hattingh (Natalie); his grandchildren, Damion, Natasha, Braam, Maia and Ryan; his brother Charles Hattingh (Moreen); and his stepdaughter Tracy Farrell.
