He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bill and Clara Lauer Zacherl Sr. Bill; his wife Brenda Lou Wyant Zacherl; and his siblings, Mike Zacherl and Mary Ellen Siegel.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Gill (Tamar) of Pittsburgh, William Zacherl Jr. (Alicia) of Clarion, Laura Bashline (Cliff Walker) of Knox, Rachel Zacherl of Shippenville and Krista Colgan (Dave) of Brookville; his siblings-in-law, Peg Zacherl of Tionesta and Claire Siegel of Tionesta; and his friend Howard "Slim" Schill (Tiffany Emert) of Tionesta. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
