It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Fern Rapp Carlson of Shippenville, Pennsylvania, born in Oak Hill, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sharp and Viola Burchett Sharp; her former husband Albert Rapp; her husband Reynold Carlson; her sons, Dean Rapp and Tom Rapp; her grandson Thomas M. Smith; and her siblings, John, Hubert, Charles Fred, Walter, Anna, Joan, Nora and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Rapp (Joy) of Shippenville, Dennis Rapp (Diane) of South Carolina and Connie Rapp Bell of Knox; her grandchildren, Kelly Rapp (Amber), Dustin Rapp of Shippenville, Edward McGrady (Shelly) of Knox, Lajuana McGrady of Knox, Virginia McGrady of Knox, Jason Rapp (Christine) of South Carolina and Caine; her great grandchildren, Cody, Brady, Alexz, Raelynn, Celeste, Ashlyn, Danielle and Branden; and her great great grandchildren, Caden, Peyton, Kylee, Oliver, Kolson, Paisley, Everly and Layla. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
