It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul J. Lauer of Shippenville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Lauer and Philomena Lauer (Selker); his wife Lois Lauer (Baines); and his siblings, Bill, Andrew, Jack Lauer, Helen Fasenmyer (Lauer) and Agnes Dechant (Lauer).
He is survived by: his children, LuAnn Spence (Lauer) of Shippenville and Paul Lauer, Jr. (Cathy) of Strasburg, VA; his grandchildren, Jackie Lauer of Sterling, VA, Tom Spence (Jill) of Shippenville, Nick Lauer (Jennifer) of Strasburg, VA, Jodi Jones (Brian) of Baltimore, MD and Amy Samuels (Gregory) of Birmingham, AL; his great grandchildren, Nate, Clay, Ben Lauer, Joseph, Brooklyn Spence and Sidney Jones; and his pet Vinny.
