He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Ditz and Edna Smerker Ditz; his great grandchild Isaac Wolbert; his brothers, James Ditz and Leonard; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Ditz and Michael Zacherl.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Ditz (Laurie) of Shippenville, Richard Paul Ditz of Shippenville and Karen Wolbert (John) of Shippenville; his granddaughters, Kristin Obenrader (Tyler), Brianna Wolbert (Tara), Jaclyn Dolby (Cody), Danielle Wise (Aaron), Amber Wolbert (Alex), Lindsey Wolbert and Anna Ditz (Billy); his great grandchildren, Louella, Vivian, Jackson, John, Jamison, Evan, Aurora, Colton, Ryleigh, Ava and Carter; and his siblings, William Ditz and Margaret "Peg" Zacherl.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service (19200 PA-208, Fryburg, PA 16326). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (18765 PA-208, Fryburg, PA 16326).
