He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wintha Beers and Leona May "Crump" Beers; his former wife Margery Saunders; his son Karl (Claire); his former wife Lola Shaffer; his daughter Dawn; his grandchild Glen; his daughters, Mary and Allison; his spouse Shirley Hessenauer; and also, Harold, Lola and Shirley. He was also cherished by five brothers.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (501 Main St, Shippenville, PA 16254). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
