She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Monroe and Esther Goff Monroe; her brothers, Robert and Harold Monroe; her granddaughter Vanessa Wingard; and her son-in-law Michael Caffery.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Caffery of Moscow, Beth Wingard (Paul) of Shippenville and Bill Lewis (Liza) of Emlenton, Her; her grandchildren, Paul Wingard Jr. (Linda) of Shippenville, Bridget Wingard (Dan Kerle) of Strattanville, Kelly Maleski (David) of New York, Jennifer Hoffman (Jeff) of Alaska, Jason Caffery (Jaime) of Iowa, Melanie Lewis (Jared May) of Maryland and Allison Lewis; her great grandchildren, Alex Rivers (Alicia Archangelo), Eli Rivers (Justine McClaine), Isaac Rivers, Ella, Kale, Leah Caffery, David, Olivia Maleski, Natalie and Ainsley Wingard; her brother Wilbur T. Monroe (Pat) of Washington; and her pet Jesse.
