She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Harriger and Helen Sedgwick Harriger; her husband James Smail; and her sister-in-law Jean Harriger. She is survived by: her children, John Smail (Barb) of Shippenville, April Smail of Clarion and Gary Smail (Amy) of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Jack Smail (Jill), Eric Smail (Wendy), Kayla Rodosh (Cody), Kristy Haag, Ashley Smail, Kelsey Clara (Jacob), Shelby Smail and Natalie Smail; her great grandchildren, Madylyn, Samuel, Gabriel, Hailey and Maiya; and her brother Clayton Harriger of Belsano.
