With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen D. Byers of Shippenville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Byers and Jessie Byers (Wagner); his siblings, David Byers, Ethel "Jo" Burdett and Phyllis Miles; his niece Kathy Burdett; and his nephew Sam Matthews.
He is survived by: his sister Patricia Simmons; his nieces and nephews, Robert Cleveland of Myrtle Beach, James Daniel Miles (Tracy) of Centreville, VA, Phyllis Burdett Hollobaugh of New Bethlehem and Heather Reynolds (Ken) of Leeper; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madeline, Jacqueline, Joseph Miles, Ian (Rachel) and Katelyn Brown (Matt); and also, Harlyn, Colson, Rikki Wagner (Scott), Adelyn, Wyatt, Bryleigh, Jessi Reynolds and Tyler Reynolds.
Donations can be made in his name to the Strattanville American Legion, the Shippenville VFD, or the Clarion VFD.
