He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Mary Ann Burt (Simpson). He is survived by: his wife Louanne Burt (Leone); his children, MaryCarolyn Felix (Curtis) and William D. Burt, Jr.; his granddaughters, Evalyn, CoraLyn and Leone Felix; his siblings, Dwight Burt and D'Anne Burt; and his sister-in-law Tammi Burt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dwayne's name to the Shippensburg Area School District Greyhound Foundation for the benefit of the Education Fund, 317 N. Morris St., Shippensburg, PA 17257.
