He was predeceased by: his parents, Maude E. Stanton (Heinze) and Warren J. Stanton Sr.; and his grandson Garrett Stanton. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Stanton (Olczak); his children, Kenneth Stanton, Kevin Stanton (Karen) and Michelle Stein (Michael); his granddaughters, Rachel (Tyler) and Stephanie Stein; and his pet Moe.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Visitation Church (305 N Prince St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
