We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2021, at the age of 65, Thomas Mitchell Shields Sr. of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Shields, Sr. and Demmie Ann Shields (Geyer); and his brother Kenneth Shields. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Sue Mentzer of Shippensburg; his children, Shania Shields, Dewayne Shields, Thomas Shields, Jr., Keith Shields and Tyler Shields; his stepsons, Cody Mentzer, Kevin Mentzer and Curtis Castle; and his siblings, Leona Marpoe of Shippensburg, Mary Bowermaster of Shippensburg, Charles J. Shields, Jr. of Shippensburg and William Shields of Palatka, FL. He is also survived by one grandson, three granddaughters and one step-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Tom's memory to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. to help defray the cost of the funeral expenses.
