Shirley Horst Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2021, at the age of 74, Shirley Horst (Shippensburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Martha Jane Thomas and Paul Pittman; her siblings, Harold (Janet), Paul Pittman (Edna), James Pittman (Darlene), Gary Pittman (Sherri), LaVonne Barlup Rozell (Keith), Romona Miller (Greg), Doreatha Yohn (Leslie), Nancy Sites (David) and Wanda Lynch Altman (Tommy); her daughters, Michele Rae Talhelm Rule of State College, PA and Melissa Jane Talhelm Mankamyer (Scott) of Shippensburg, PA.; her stepdaughter Margaret Horst of Gastonia, NC; and her granddaughters, Dr. Elizabeth Martha Rule and Kathryn JoAnn Rule. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
