He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bigler and Melva "Louise" Bigler (Etter). He is survived by: his children, Carmen Zimbicki (Bob), Robert "Trent" Bigler (Tiffany) and Heather Swartz (Keith); his sisters, Cindy Hershey and Suzanne Rhodes; and his pets, Layla, Holly and Bella. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for "Biggie" to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA 17257 to help defray the cost of funeral arrangements.
