He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cressler; his sons, Michael S. Thompson of Shippensburg and Geoffrey D. Thompson (Anne) of Colmar; and his grandchildren, Timothy S. Thompson of Harrisburg, Andrew J. Thompson of Colmar, Stephanie A. Thompson of Walnutport, Jessica A. Thompson of Colmar and Kristin R. Thompson of Shippensburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Lutheran Church (34 E Orange St, Shippensburg, PA 17257). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (114 N Morris St, Shippensburg, PA 17257).
