He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Paul Slabach; and his siblings, Irvin Frey, Lista Martin, Catherine Martin, Adin Frey, Miriam Horst, Beulah Shank and Lois Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine M. Frey (Eby); and his children, Glenda K., Lavonda M., Dean E., Regina S., Charlene M., Lynn E. and Duane L. Frey of Chambersburg. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
